Job Description

One of our clients located in New Haven county has an immediate need for a Bookkeeper who would be responsible for managing all financial accounting, monthly closing, reconciliations, reporting and analysis for the firm.
Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of end to end bookkeeping process and monthly reporting.
  • Ensure the timely processing of all accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations and monthly reporting
  • Ensure the accuracy of client trust account balances
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for the partners and work with them to manage cash flow

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5 years minimum experience in an accounting role
  • Background with accounting at a legal firm a must
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and can quickly adapt to changing priorities
