Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
Seeking an immediate hire for a dynamic individual to join our design and manufacturing team as a full-time structural and mechanical engineer. Proficiency in structural steel frame design is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute mechanical designs.
- Conduct engineering calculations to support design initiatives.
- Generate and review technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, engaging with architects, clients, and fellow engineers.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to monitor project progression and design evolution.
- Adhere to project timelines and budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, with a proven track record in mechanical system and product design.
- Proficiency in advanced mathematical concepts and statistical analysis for problem-solving.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Exceptional technical acumen and logical reasoning skills.
- Clear and effective communication abilities.
- Self-driven and adept at collaborative teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS.
- Previous exposure to structural steel frame design.
