SNI Financial is looking for a Sr. Accountant/Cost Accountant in S. FL. This role will report to the Controller & CFO and handle the day-to-day accounting functions. Candidate is expected to be autonomous and able to bring their own ideas/experiences to enhance current processes across the accounting department. Responsibilities - Assist the Controller with overseeing the AP/AR teams with their questions
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements of two separate companies
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts/subledgers
- Post journal entries including accruals and WIP allocation
- Manage depreciation software and post entries
- Assist Controller with implementation of GAAP adherence processes/Audits
- Ensure a smooth month-end close process
EXPERIENCE - Accounting degree from an accredited college
- 2+ years of cost accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
- 2+ years of ERP system experience—that with two-step posting experience such as Oracle, Great Plains, SAP ,etc.
- 1+ years of cloud-based accounting software system experience (QBO, NetSuite, Sage, Xero)
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
