SNI Financial is partnered with a $10B distribution company that’s hiring an Accounting Manager for their Naperville, IL headquarters. The company has been in business for over 50 years and has been continuing to grow organically and through acquisition. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team and lead consolidations, close, process improvements, and a small team of accounting professionals.
Responsibilities: - Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements & footnotes
- Own the consolidation of subsidiary trial balances and intercompany transactions
- Enhance processes around cost allocation
- Research and ensuring GAAP guidelines are applied appropriately
- Work closely with tax partners as the main point of contact and provide necessary information for tax returns.
- Supervisor regulatory compliance filings
- Develop accounting staff
- Support month-end close as needed
- Optimize existing processes and participate on special projects with leadership
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA required
- 5+ years of professional experience in corporate accounting or public accounting
- Experience within manufacturing or distribution industry helpful
- Strong understanding of financial statements & GAAP
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to mentor a team
- Values a team driven atmosphere
- Ability to work onsite 3x per week
