Job Description

SNI Financial's Client is experiencing tremendous growth and is seeking multiple accounting professionals to join their team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare entries to general ledger accounts and document business transactions.
  • Distributes expenditures, receipts, and receivables.
  • Perform statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes.
  • Perform detailed reconciliation for both cash accounts and intercompany loan accounts.
  • Execute bank reconciliations and set up ACH for expenditures.
  • Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Monitors compliance with GAAP.
  • Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Create pro formas for contracts to determine pricing and profitability.
  • Prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting.
  • 4 or more years of accounting experience
  • Strong experience with Quickbooks, Great Plains, Access and Excel
  • Hospitality, Health Insurance, or Property and Casualty Insurance is preferred
