Large Manufacturer in Edison, NJ Looking for a Sr. Customer Project Manager

Experience with order execution and timely development of new items to support both clients and company.. Process and manage sales orders and related charges, proactively manage product timelines, understand processes and opportunities for efficiencies, responds effectively to client concerns and feedback. Performs all duties of Project Manager but to a higher level of responsibility.

Accurately manage client expectations with goal of 100% OTIF. Assume responsibility as a cross-functional team leader through an understanding of all support roles in Package Engineering, Quality, Planning and Production. Accurately oversee the management of the order backlog for accurate Sales Forecast and Capacity Planning.
Request from customer the filling specifications of each product & sanitization process and frequency for QA /QC. Become involved with Quality Assurance and the release of shipments. Work with accounting to assure validity of invoicing.
Become familiar with all departments that have impact on the customer and the customer. Learn the structure of each organization.
Ability to develop data in an analytical fashion to produce reports.
Develop close rapport with customer to resolve issues.
Keys information into computer to compile work volume statistics for accounting purposes and to keep records of customer service requests and complaints.
Understanding of artwork processing and specifications; collaborate with R&D, purchasing and sales to ensure that both customer requirements and Flexpaq technical requirements are met.
Understanding of micro and analytical laboratory testing timelines & its impact on FG release for shipment and understand technicalities of pacquette production.
Understanding of domestic and international traffic and gain knowledge of the associated
terminology in order to understand the movement of goods and services.
Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
Documents issues and solutions in customer files.
Assist with information to standardize procedures to improve efficiency of department.
Prepare reports and participate in Daily Management meetings as well as .
Coordinate procurement of customer supplied raw materials required for filling orders and specifies to purchasing those materials that are to be Flexpaq supplied.
Address errors and complaints to reach equitable resolutions.
Perform conflict resolution between staff and departments.
Provide training to Project Managers on process, SOP's, GMP's etc.
Develop process improvements for both department and company as a whole to increase productivity.
Monitor customer service adherence to work schedules and customer availability
Monitor accounts for effective workload distribution across the CPM department.
Monitors sales per month and backlog per month with information given by President.
Additional Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
1. Minimum BS Degree in Business
2. Minimum seven to ten (7-10) years of work experience in a project management/manufacturing environment within the cosmetics industry or related industry demonstrating an upward progression of responsibilities through Production, Planning, Logistics and Project Management. At least 3 years of supervisory experience in any of these areas is required.
Sense of ownership and accountability for the timely execution of orders
High comfort level with client portals(SAP) and other ERP systems
