Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as "Pricing Champion" with the shared commitment of the Executive Team.
  • Lead Pricing Committee and the structures, processes and systems to create sustainable price advantage.
  • Develop Pricing strategy and business plan/budget in line with Corporate Strategy.
  • Develop/review/update policies, procedures, and processes for Pricing.
  • Determine optimal pricing for the new products and the financial implications of various price/volume scenarios.
  • Review and enhance prices for new products/ Value Added Services/Bundling Products taking into account internal costs to serve, competition, regulation, and market constraints.
  • Monitor pricing to ensure the objectives are achieved (acquisitions/usage/revenue/margin). Track specific improvement targets for Pocket Price.
  • Closely monitor how product/market pricing is evolving relative to competition and ensure the ongoing price competitiveness and profitability of products/customers/channels.
  • Monitor competitors' pricing for similar products/services and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities for industry price leadership.
  • Set the volume objective of sales upon the pricing strategy in conjunction with executive overview.
  • Support the Sales Teams in price negotiations.


  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree or equivalent education; Three to five years of financial, analytical, and strategic experience preferred; and formal pricing education/training is highly preferred.
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis including ROI, activity-based costing, price elasticity, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership with analytical and critical thinking, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively partner with other business leaders including Divisional Presidents, Sales, Finance, Sourcing, Marketing, IT, and Operations; Ability to influence peers.
  • Ability to communicate quantitative and qualitative findings succinctly to senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems positively and professionally.

Experience in the selection and implementation of pricing systems.
