Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for monthly analysis and forecasting. Responsible for ensuring that expenses are properly stated prior to the month end close; propose and record journal entries as needed. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package and annual budget. This person will support management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information; and recommending actions. The candidate must have strong organization and communication skills, be a strategic thinker and have the ability to coordinate activities and projects. A strong team player-coach who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Problem solving in accounting, finance, revenue management and tax with an emphasis on clear communication, understanding of process, quality and efficiency of work product. Collaboration with office business leaders, finance and accounting teams and the Tax team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collect and organize financial data for all offices and departments.
  • Compile and analyze financial reports; identify discrepancies that require senior management attention.
  • Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to make critical business decisions.
  • Forecast annual expenses on a monthly basis.
  • Supports management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information; recommending actions.
  • Identify and resolving issues.
  • Drive improvements in processes or policies.

Qualifications & Prior Experience

  • Four years of general ledger accounting experience including financial planning and analysis.
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting; CPA or Masters in Accounting/Finance a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills; strategic thinker with an emphasis on innovation.
  • Confidence, energy and personality to work in a dynamic environment across all levels of management, functions and geographies
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Proficiency with Aderant Software is a plus.
