Job Description

Overal the Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurately paying employees in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) rules and regulations.

  • Help to assure proper tax treatment, accounting, and disposition of withholdings such as taxes, deductions for benefits, etc.
  • High volume of Payroll processing for union and non-union members. As well as commissions.
  • Use of Ultipro, Paycom, ADP and extensive use/knowledge of Excel.
  • Reviews timecards and expense reports to ensure accuracy and completeness on a regular basis
  • Reviews and generates a bi-monthly payroll report for the Controller to allocate payroll costs to the general ledger.
