JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for supporting the Finance Department. Responsibilities include data input/conversions for data integrity, and providing overall support to business units and divisions. In addition, the position is responsible for evaluating all business development opportunities to determine accurate data feeds, calculation of provider compensation incentives and bonuses and collection/analysis/maintenance of centralized data repository for quality and outcomes measures. May also be utilized for "special projects" including, but not limited to gathering key data for surveys, pilot projects, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide accurate and timely reporting, analysis, and entry of billing information including custom reports (includes reports for all facilities, Vice President of Operations and Financial Accountants) using Ingenious Med and IDX, software packages and other tools.
- Develop and maintain financial spreadsheets used for gathering budget and projection information .
- Perform financial and statistical variance analyses.
- Prepare Journal entries as assigned.
- Assist Senior Leadership with acquiring and preparing reports needed for quality reviews in a timely manner.
- Compile data and calculate monthly productivity and quality reports.
- Calculate provider compensation incentives and bonuses.
- Evaluate all Business Development opportunities to determine appropriate volumes and verify accuracy of projections generated by HCFS.
- Populate data for all pro forma generated for new business development.
- Complete other special projects and tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
The job qualifications for this position are as follows:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) or equivalent education and work experience;
* Three years of experience with Healthcare Industry
* Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suites); heavy experience with PowerPoint, Access, and Advanced Excel skills.
* Strong mathematical skills;
* Strong understanding of in-patient professional medical billing is a plus;
* Must have strong understanding of analytics (the ability to provide reports and understand how the data is being used);
* Good judgment, decision-making skills and detail-oriented
* Good communications skills (verbal/written);
* Good organizational skills;
* Ability to work with multiple data and incorporate a high degree of accuracy
* Ability to work with minimal direction/supervision;
* Ability to handle challenging situations and meet deadlines.

The physical and environmental demands for this job are as follows:
* Job performed in a well-lighted, modern office setting;
* Occasional lifting/carrying (20 pounds or less);
* Occasional standing/bending/stooping/reaching;
* Prolonged sitting;
* Prolonged work in a computer/PC; and
* Occasional travel.
This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
