Job Description

One of our valued clients in the Wakefield area is seeking an entry level staff accountant to join their dynamic accounting team.

Responsibilities:

* Enter new vendors in the system

* Enter all bills and credit card receipts into database on a weekly basis including sub-contractor and material vendor bills

* Cut checks and mail out as needed

* Must manage documents (invoices and bills) and distribute to appropriate manager

* Collect waivers

* Respond to vendor inquiries when needed

* Collect and manage W-9's from new vendors

* Fill out credit applications when needed

* Maintain accounting files

Qualifications:

* College degree in Accounting or finance preferred

* One year of accounting experience

* Strong communication skills

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
