Position: Director of Compensation & Benefits

Position Summary:

The Director of Compensation and Benefits will primarily work with and report into the senior management but contribute to a key part of the HR department. Alongside implementing the rewards and benefits policies within an organization, the Director will be responsible for ensuring that implemented programs support the business objectives and meet all legal requirements

The continual evaluation of a company's compensation and benefits packages, including base pay, incentive pay, health and welfare benefits, and retirement benefits is a fundamental part of this role. The Director will be expected to support and/ or manage budgets and have an understanding of company aims and business profitability.

Requirements:

- Eight (8) or more years experience in positions of increasing complexity developing and implementing diverse compensation and benefits plans (healthcare experience strongly preferred)

- Five (5) years of experience developing executive and team based compensation plans

- CCP, CEBS, or SPHR certification(s) preferred

- Strong knowledge in designing compensation and benefits plans, as well as negotiating and administering healthcare and retirement plans


Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required. Master's in HR or MBA preferred.
