Job Description

SNI Financial is partnered with a privately held manufacturing company that is hiring a Credit & Collections Manager to join their team. This company is based out of downtown Chicago and was founded over 25 years ago. The Credit & Collections Manager will manage a team of four individuals investigate delinquent accounts, ensure compliance, and maintain relationships with vendors.   • Assign work responsibility for investigating and verifying financial status and reputation of prospective customers
  • Oversee investigation and collection for delinquent amounts, terminate contracts, and manage usage of vendors to secure payments
  • Coordinate activities with outside collection agencies and legal counsel
  • Provided direction and exceptions to the team and ensure contract terms are being enforced
  • Ensure compliance for all reporting and payments
  • Produce reports that outline collections results
  • Resolve internal and external customer issues
  • Conduct routine AR maintenance reviews
  • Supervise cash application duties and cred card processing
  • Approve payment plans and terms
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of employees


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in related field
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in AP role
  • Knowledge of general accounting
  • Proficiency with ERP system and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong customer service attitude and excellent communication skills
