Job Description


We're looking to hire a Controller for our headquarters in South Florida. This individual will lead an Accounting team of 4 and report to the Executives of the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close including financial statements, general ledger analysis and reconciliations
  • Compile, prepare and analyze other financial reports including budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements. Will give key sales insights, sales commission planning, bank financing, tax planning, sales tax, inventory, depreciation.
  • Oversee A/P and A/R functions
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • Provide strategic analysis related to the business operations
  • Perform special accounting projects as requested by the Executive team
  • Supervise, lead and mentor accounting staff

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of accounting experience; 2+ in management
  • Able to be a "Jack of all Trades"
  • Great communication
