Job Description


Our Company is seeking:

An experienced and highly motivated Bookkeeper with great commercial real estate experience.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or 3 to 5 years related experience with accounts receivable/accounts payables/commercial real estate; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in computer software including but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Work on Month-end close for financials of a handful of commercial properties


Responsibilities:

  • All cash receipts related issues.
  • Assisting customer service, property managers and owners with owner account history issues.
  • Perform clerical duties including answering the phone, copying, faxing, maintaining and filing records, and mailing checks to vendors.
  • Monitor the cash balance and escalate cash shortages.
  • Maintain utility and insurance spreadsheets to ensure bills are paid in a timely fashion.
  • Reconcile vendor statements monthly and contact vendors for missing invoices.
  • Reviews bank activity throughout the month and reconciles to book activity.
  • Sets up balance sheet schedules in advance to be maintained throughout the month.
  • Assists with annual audit coordination by providing auditors with requested information and answering questions that arise.
  • Assists with client communication by responding to financial questions in a timely fashion.
