Job Description


Duties and responsibilities include:

• Managing and directing the processing activities of consumer and commercial loan applications, for real estate and non-real estate transactions.


• Lead the loan documentation process for consumer and commercial transactions, to include closing and documenting the loan in accordance with credit approval; reviewing legal documentation and due diligence items as required by credit and/or compliance; reviewing and verifying closing packages to ensure all documents are present, complete, and all fees are properly documented prior to loan closing; processing adverse action activities.


• Manage process and resources to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of team members. This may include directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, monitoring team quality accuracy and efficiency through coaching and mentoring efforts. Train staff for system enhancements and procedure changes.


• Ensure adequate processes, procedures, and workflows are in place to meet business and regulatory requirements. Identifies, develops, and recommends revision of internal standards and new programs. Provides staff with clear concise written guidelines and minimizes losses through effective internal controls.


• Oversees development of staff by coaching and helping team members facilitate problem solving and collaboration. Works with the other departmental Managers to continuously drive progress and add financial value for our members.


• Administer the LaserPro application to include but not limited to maintaining system parameters, coordination of testing and release of system updates


• Meet established department goals with minimal supervision; update supervisor/leader on all major projects, employee issues and goal progress.


• Partner with other Operations Managers to continuously drive efficient processes and add value to our business partners and customers


• Participate in special projects and assignments and performs other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of loan documentation experience, or relevant work experience in the financial services industry. Consumer and commercial experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems:

• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations affecting commercial and consumer loans.


• Knowledge of LaserPro preferred


• Must possess accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills as well as superior written and oral communication skills.


• Must possess the ability to set priorities, manage tasks and meet deadlines.


• Must be willing and capable of defining problems and taking initiative to propose practical solutions.


• Some travel may be required on an as needed basis to attend trainings, conferences, and/or between bank locations
