Job Description

Statement of Purpose: The Bookkeeper is responsible for a variety of bookkeeping functions

Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all vendor invoices and making timely and accurate payments
  • Responsible for maintaining vendor files required for year-end reporting
  • Responsible for preparing and recording all monthly deposits, checks/credit cards
  • Responsible for recording weekly sales
  • Reconcile all credit card statements
  • Responsible for accurately reporting bi-weekly payroll related expenses
  • Other financial duties as requested.


  • Associates degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years bookkeeping experience in a corporate environment
  • Previous not for profit or cost accounting experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks is preferred


  • Must possess and maintain valid Florida driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Must have reliable and accessible auto vehicle.
  • Must pass necessary fingerprinting, Level II background checks and employment eligibility verification through the U. S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system,
