Responsible for managing the day to day operations of the accounting functions of the Finance Department including, Receivables and Payables, Payroll, Financial Systems Department and Purchasing. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the FL and for the production of monthly financial reports.

  • Overseeing the day to day operations of the accounting department
  • Perform monthly financial analysis
  • Review and prepare journal entries to correct errors
  • Document reasons for budget variances
  • Analyze income statement line items and prepare management reports
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly and year-end financial reports
  • Timely completion of reports
  • Prepare and review audit schedules, reconciliations and financial reports needed for quarter-end and year-end audits for all company entities
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts assigned and review reconciliations prepared by other Finance staff
  • Assist in the implementation of Oracle financial applications
  • Assist in the maintenance of Oracle GL, fixed assets, projects, AP/AP modules
  • Assist in the set up of additional Oracle sets of books
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of financial reports in both Oracle and Hyperion Planning
  • Responsible for overseeing monthly financial report generation
  • Coordinate the process to interface various methods of payment between the financial system and the third party bank and processors of payments
  • Ensure balance sheet account balances are reasonable
  • Ensure income statement is fairly stated through income statement review
  • Assist with the development of the annual budget for all areas

Supervisory Role:
Responsible for the performance management and hiring of employees within the department
Financial Responsibility
Responsible for preparation and oversight of the Department budget and for monitoring results
Education and Must-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA license
  • 5 years corporate accounting experience in a computerized financial systems environment
  • Oracle Financial experience
  • Tow years of team management experience

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Financial Information Systems
  • Oracle knowledge
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, and other finance procedures
  • Must have ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals

$95-110,000.00 + 10% bonus
