Job Title: R&D Chemist

Responsibilities:
- Develop chemical formulas for thermal products.
- Test chemical formulas and product performance.
- Coordinate and oversee the production ramp-up process.
- Perform various duties related to product development.

Essential Job Functions:
- Work on assigned products to create chemical formulations for new or enhanced thermal products.
- Receive and adhere to project specifications and parameters.
- Prepare diverse chemical mixtures to develop effective thermal coatings.
- Conduct experiments to test coatings on paper and assess product performance against established specifications.

Production Coordination:
- Translate bench-top formulas into full-scale production formulas.
- Collaborate with production personnel to mix coating batches and conduct comprehensive production testing.
- Assist in initial production runs of approved new product formulations.
- Address and resolve any production problems encountered during the process.

Analysis and Testing:
- Analyze various company and competitor products.
- Conduct lab tests to determine product performance characteristics and production feasibility.
- Perform comparison tests with both company and competitor products.

Communication and Liaison:
- Act as a liaison between the company, vendors, and customers.
- Engage with customers to discuss product performance, future needs, and requirements.
- Communicate with vendors regarding raw material quality, production standards, and related matters.

Skills and Requirements:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Visual acuity for written matter, computer screen data, and lab experiments.
- Physical ability to use and operate various lab equipment.
