Staff Accountant

Seeking a candidate for a Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate must be responsible, trustworthy, and have a strong understanding of accounting theory and practices. 

Responsibilities: 

• Primarily responsible for client billing, accounts receivable operations, and revenue recognition.
• Support month-end general ledger account reconciliation.
• Support sales and income tax compliance.
• General support of the accounting function.
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelors degree in Accounting.
• 1-2 years accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting theory.
• Intermediate level knowledge of all accounting functions and related internal controls, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Auditing skills, with the ability to research and reconcile difficult accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
