Engineer - Mechanical Design
SNI is partnered with a fantastic and growing manufacturer of industrial machinery that is seeking multiple Mechanical Engineers for multiple departments!
Key Responsibilities: As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, responsible for:
- Designing and engineering equipment with precision.
- Developing detailed 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
- Producing comprehensive assembly and fabrication drawings, including bills of material.
- Ensuring project readiness for order release from the engineering phase.
- Providing essential engineering and design support to our sales team.
- Offering technical assistance to both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Skillfully troubleshooting technical issues in collaboration with various teams.
- Compiling comprehensive equipment manuals and project documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications: We're looking for individuals with the following qualifications and attributes:
- A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software with acute attention to detail.
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical concepts.
- Reliability, a willingness to learn, and a passion for teamwork. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with the following experiences will be given preference:
- Proficiency in sheet metal modeling within 3D CAD environments.
- Familiarity with FDA and pharmaceutical standards.
- Previous involvement in designing automated machinery and conveyor systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with Visual Basic and automation controls.
- Knowledge of Electrical and Pneumatic systems.
