Service Technician (Allendale NJ)

Job Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines (experience with Citizen & Miyano is a plus)
Assist with field start-ups and provide customer training as needed
Replace components such as ball screws, motors, and cartridge spindles
Utilize ladder logic and diagnostic functions on various controls
Provide frequent phone support for troubleshooting
Conduct first part run-offs to ensure machine acceptance
Domestic and international travel (including Mexico and Canada) as required
Align and interface barfeed units
Align and adjust tools as necessary
Repair spindle bearings

Qualifications & Skills:

Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally (Canada, Mexico)
3-6 years of experience in CNC machine tooling
1-4 years of experience with Swiss machines is beneficial
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including reading ladder diagrams and control diagnostics
Experience in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
Professional interaction with customers both in person and over the phone
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver’s license and passport
Proficiency in geometry
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently
