Are you an experienced and hands-on Accounting Manager looking for a dynamic role with an established construction firm? Our client is seeking a motivated individual to join their team and work directly with the CFO and a tenured Accounting Manager. Location: A1A & Beach Blvd area – Just two blocks from the beach!
Work Schedule: In-office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements (tax-basis and GAAP) for various entities.
- Monitor and maintain cash balances.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Maintain books and records for assigned entities, including posting all transactions.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices, rents, taxes, licenses, and notes for several entities.
- Prepare analysis spreadsheets and reports as needed.
- Assist with tax and audit requirements, including preparing spreadsheets for auditors and tax accountants.
- Cross-train and assist with other business needs as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Accounting experience, including job costing (open to capable new graduates willing to learn).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- General ledger experience, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements.
- Construction accounting experience is a plus.
- Background check required.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with construction software like Deltek ComputerEase or Sage is preferred, but we’re open to tech-savvy candidates adaptable to new systems.
