Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee all logistics operations, including loading, picking, packaging, and delivery. This position plays a key role in coordinating the daily activities of the logistics team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The role reports directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for optimizing workflow and ensuring timely and accurate product delivery.



Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Operations:

  • Coordinate with the Production Manager to manage the flow of products from manufacturing to the warehouse, ensuring timely availability for shipment.

  • Supervise the picking and staging of items to ensure accuracy and readiness for loading.

  • Verify that all shipments are complete, accurate, and properly checked before loading to prevent errors.

  • Plan delivery routes and manage daily transportation schedules.

  • Oversee the maintenance and organization of trucks and trailers.

  • Learn and use the company’s ERP system to manage Pick, Pack, and Ship processes.

  • Utilize system tools for generating reports and responding to information requests.

  • Develop performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of warehouse operations.

  • Support inventory processes in collaboration with the Production Manager.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide direction and support to warehouse staff and delivery drivers to foster a productive, cohesive team.

  • Review and/or develop job descriptions for warehouse roles.

  • Make recommendations on temporary staffing needs.

  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to support their growth within the organization.

  • Work closely with loaders to prioritize product movement based on urgency.

  • Manage delivery drivers to ensure consistent coverage and reliable service.

  • Ensure all warehouse personnel follow proper safety protocols.



Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in a warehouse leadership role.

  • Ability to quickly integrate with production teams and understand key business processes.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

  • Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.

  • Demonstrates sound judgment, integrity, and resourcefulness.

  • Strong awareness of workplace safety and risk management.



Supervisory Duties:

  • Directly supervises 8–10 employees.

  • Responsible for recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and resolution of employee issues, in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.

Technical & Computer Skills:

  • Familiarity with software for inventory, project management, databases, manufacturing, spreadsheets, and word processing.



Physical Requirements:

  • Regular movement including standing, walking, sitting, and using hands for handling materials.

  • Ability to lift/move 10–50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.

  • Requires close vision and attention to detail.

  • Exposure to a typical warehouse environment.
