Maintenance Manager
Overview
The Maintenance Manager will oversee all technical aspects of operations, including managing facility projects, optimizing processes and packaging, ensuring asset reliability, managing utilities, and troubleshooting daily operational challenges. The role focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety by implementing technical enhancements. Responsibilities include analyzing operational issues to identify root causes, implementing solutions, driving cost savings, and supporting the installation of new equipment and processes in the facility.
Core Responsibilities
- Fixed Asset Management: Ensure plant assets are effectively utilized and maintained for optimal performance.
- Project Oversight: Oversee investments, including justification, design, implementation, start-up, and sustainability.
- Utility Management: Ensure production utility needs are met efficiently and optimized.
- Asset Reliability: Lead initiatives to improve equipment reliability and move toward world-class operational standards.
- Technical Support: Provide hands-on guidance and solutions for issues related to processing and packaging equipment.
- Process & Packaging Improvements: Use root cause analysis to optimize manufacturing and support processes.
- Maintenance Leadership: Supervise the maintenance team, prioritize work orders, and organize plant projects. Develop and implement a proactive preventive maintenance (PM) program to reduce reactive repairs.
- CMMS Management: Enhance and manage the maintenance software system (e.g., DIMO) to track parts inventory, create purchase orders, manage work orders and preventive maintenance, and maintain equipment schematics and documentation.

Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industries.
- Experience managing fixed assets and maintenance operations.
- Proven track record of supervising technical teams, contractors, or third-party service providers.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with and experience in implementing:
- Standard Work practices.
- Mistake-proofing methodologies.
- Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Autonomous Maintenance.
- Zero-loss operational culture.
