Staff Accountant

Accounting Now, a division of SNI Companies, has partnered with our client in hiring for a Staff Accountant position working in the financial services industry. Our client has been in business for 30+ years and continues to expand their services to their clients nationwide.  A summary of responsibilities includes

• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Sales tax set up and verifications
• Assist with month end and year end reporting
• Prepare supporting schedules and documents for fiscal year audit
• Assist with other Staff Accountant responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting, preferred or 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
• Intermediate/advanced software experience using MS Dynamics and other MS Office applications
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position starts at $60,000 year and there is bonus eligibility. Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience.  Insurance, and other benefit options that are offered include:
