Job Description

Strategic Planning & Selling:

  • Develop customer growth strategies and plans that align to both strategic goals and customer's goals
  • Identify new strategic opportunities
  • Execute insight based selling to drive long term growth
  • Effectively execute plans, monitor progress & course correct
  • Leverage accounts to grow customer base
  • Use Data and Insights to drive the business and strategic plan

Customer Relationships:

  • Successfully develop, maintain and oversee relations with Design Consultants, National Chains, Buying groups and Distributors, reviewing and discussing the pricing programs, business relationships and proactively managing key issues/problems
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional departments to ensure customer needs are met
  • Manage independent sales representative, customer and internal sales relationships
  • Attending and representing the company effectively at company events, trade shows, conferences, exhibitions etc.
  • Conducting face-to-face and conference call type sales meetings


  • University degree in Business, Commerce, business administration, finance, economics, statistics, marketing and/or business law
  • 5 -7 years of sales experience, preferably in Food service equipment, small wares or manufacturing
  • Excel proficiency
  • Competency level to interpret and analysis of CAD drawings pertaining to manufactured items and design layouts
  • Experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business planning.
  • Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with internal and external customers including key business partners and store management.
  • Knowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management, and budgeting techniques.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Strong selling, presentation, strategic thinking, negotiating, organizational, financial analysis and broker management skills
  • Solid computer skills with focus on Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to drive business results - Overnight Travel Required
  • Has the proficiency to analyze sales reporting and market data completed by the company and the Healthcare industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer facing competencies (manages face-to-face interactions with ease, solution-oriented and forges connections and trust effectively)
  • Sound organizational and administrative competencies
  • Application of Consultative Selling Skills (questioning, active-listening, note-taking, probe specifics, strategic negotiating, interpretation and understanding of customer request)


  • Expected travel for this role is 2-3 weeks a month within the continental United States of America
  • Salary $60,000 with growth incentives
