National Accounts Project Manager/Account Manager Commercial Roofing
The National Accounts Project Manager/Account Manager will oversee design criteria, project specifications, proposal generation and field operations. The Project Manager is responsible for assuring performance, productivity, quality, and safety initiatives are meeting the expectations of the respective national account we are servicing. This position will be responsible for leading and promoting continuous project absolutes, define processes and procedures, improvement initiatives and process improvement techniques. In addition, this position will service and retain existing customers while identifying additional work.      

Job Functions:

Project Management
  • Plan, organize, and establish objectives and goals for projects assigned by the Strategic Account Manager
  • Oversee data collection with our offices, establish design criteria and specifications for assigned projects based on client requirements and expectations.
  • Determine the appropriate design needs for the projects assigned utilizing a collaborative effort engaging the client, strategic account manager. 
  • Participate and review the project proposals with the Strategic Account Manager or Strategic Partner to assure the design criteria and the project specifications are consistent with the proposal.
  • Oversees and coordinates efforts on all aspects of project management, including client interaction, safety, scheduling, production, reporting and quality control of work performed through project closeout.
  • Directs customer questions, complaints, and requests appropriately. Performs field inspections and investigations as necessary.
Account Management
  • Maintain top level contact with the management of assigned existing customers
  • Identify additional projects with assigned existing customers
  • Maintain full responsibility of the client relationship and required objectives/duties (proposal generation and review, project management oversight, sales collection) from client engagement through project closeout.
  • Maintain an understanding of the assigned existing customers current and future commercial roofing need


Knowledge, Skills & Experience
 
  • Minimum five (5) years of construction industry experience in management is a must with emphasis on all facets of business including but not limited to customer relations, extensive knowledge of roofing materials, techniques and requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge of roofing (all disciplines), waterproofing and building envelope
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is a plus
  • STRONG Safety knowledge with an OSHA 10
  • Other critical skills include planning & organizing; problem identification/resolution, multi-tasking, follow-through skills to bring tasks to closure in a timely manner, priority setting, and having a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner.   
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Able to lift up to 80 pounds and comfortable visiting actual job sites about 50% of the time (without fear of heights)
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with associates
  • 75% travel
