SNI Financial has partnered with a global multi-billion dollar privately owned manufacturing company with operational facilities located Europe, Africa and the U.S. The company has been in business over 40 years and has become the leader in their industry.

Position Summary
The Group Treasurer will oversee all treasury functions and be a key resource in building a Global World Class Treasury function.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and execution of global cash management strategy including commercial banking relationships, cash pooling strategies and investment management.
  • Oversee the day-to-day treasury activities for the Group's corporate entity including disbursements and trade settlement, bank account management and foreign currency hedging.
  • Review Capex reports and analysis prepared by Corporate Treasurer.
  • Challenge assumptions and ensure correct DCF approach for ROI projects have been applied
  • Negotiate & manage the annual general insurance renewal and act as main point of contact with insurance brokers.
    • Monitor and provide assistance with claims made throughout the Group.
    • Ensure Corporate Treasurer manages the credit insurance program efficiently.
    • Ensure that Group companies comply with policy terms and conditions on all insurance related matters.
  • Identify corporate currency exposures and ensure appropriate hedging contracts within the terms of treasury operating policy are in place.
    • Review reports on currency exposures and hedge positions and authorize FX hedges proposed by Corporate Treasurer.
    • Develop and maintain the use of 360T throughout the Group.
    • Review impact of changing the corporate functional currency from GBP to USD for Corporate & the Group and ensure appropriate adjusting hedges are executed.
  • Ensure that the Group has adequate funding facilities in place.
  • Act as main point of contact for the setting up of all new banking and bond facilities
  • Review all compliance documentation for the Group's senior credit facilities and issued securities.
  • Review drawdown documentation with subsidiaries and banks.
  • Work closely on all initiatives to improve funding e.g. Project Smoothing, Trade Credit Finance, Precious Metal Leasing.
  • To prepare and develop Treasury slides to be used at Board and International meetings.
  • Work with Internal audit to develop new policy documents.
  • Ensure all operating units adhere to issued Treasury policy documents
  • Follow up on any Treasury related control issues identified by Internal Audit.
  • Authorize payments on various banking platforms & SAP carefully checking beneficiary account details and documents correctly authorized.
  • Set up and comply with EMIR regulations. Annual maintenance of LEI.
  • Comply with FATCA regulations and liaise with the Tax Director.
  • Identify corporate commodity exposures and ensure operating units put in place appropriate hedging contracts within the terms of treasury operating policy.
  • Implement global oversight of commodity hedging. Develop Groupwide reporting to reconcile commodity hedges with the underlying risk.
  • Work closely with the operating unit's commercial departments who perform commodity hedging.
  • Develop existing Broker relationships and work alongside divisional finance managers in setting up new commodity brokers.
  • Develop a sufficient understanding of all Corporate Treasurer's responsibilities to be able to both effectively manage and also act as day today back-up where required.
  • Manage, review and ensure accuracy of all tasks & reports completed by Corporate Treasurer.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required. MBA is highly.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive leadership positions in a global treasury organization.
  • Previous experience in both centralized and decentralized environments a plus.
  • Must possess a solid understanding of accounting concepts including financial statement analysis.
  • Experience with managing all lines of insurance (property, casualty, executive lines, etc.).
  • Experience with FX and commodity hedging.
