Our client in Central CT is looking for a technician who can Set-up and operate wire, electrical discharge machines (EDM). Inspect product to determine compliance with product specifications
- Program equipment to produce product to required specifications
- Set-up and operate wire EDM machines, hole poppers / drillers, and RAM EDM machines
- Inspect products to required specifications
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance, as specified
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Work in a safe fashion, adhering to safety rules, immediately reporting potentially unsafe situations to supervision
- Accountable for quality performance
- Minimize scrap and rework in order to reduce and control product cost
- Minimize scrap and rework in order to assure timely delivery to customers
- Productivity / Efficiency
- Work in a productive and efficient fashion
- Meet production goals/standards determined by the company
